On December 5th, Australian psych-rockers Pond brought their expansive and immersive psychedelia to Los Angeles. The band ended their 14-show North American tour playing at the historic Belasco Theatre.

Touring their newest album, Stung! lead vocalist and guitarist Nick Allbrook, opened the night with their song (I’m) Stung.

Throughout the set, Pond effortlessly navigated through their discography, playing songs from their newest album, Stung!

Highlights from the setlist included, "Sweep Me Off My Feet," “So Lo,” and “Human Touch,” which are all fan favorites. The Belasco’s historic atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for Pond’s psychedelic mix with the venue's intimate feel amplifying the band on stage.

The interplay between the band members Allbrook, Jay Watson, and the rest of the crew was seamless, with moments of improvisation that allowed their inherent chemistry to shine.

Closing the night with “Don’t Look at the Sun or You’ll Go Blind” Pond managed to strike the perfect balance between lightheartedness and intensity. During the final song, Allbrook got in the audience to crowd surf and interact with fans. The final song of the night had the entire crowd dancing and enjoying the final night of the tour for Pond.

It’s clear that Pond continues to be one of the most exciting acts in the modern psych-rock scene. The Belasco, with its rich history and atmosphere, proved to be the perfect venue for the band’s last performance of the Stung! tour.
